The rumors have floating around for months: Renee Zellweger has signed on for a third installment of the Bridget Jones saga. This one centers around Bridget, who's now in her 40s, and her trying to get pregnant.
According to Renee herself, this is news to her. Usmagazine.com spoke with her at Elle magazine's Women in Hollywood Tribute in Beverly Hills yesterday, and the svelte star laughed off the rumors. "I don't know!" she exclaimed. "Isn't that funny? I get asked that every single day and I don't know anything. It's like a rumor!"
The rumors seemed strange, since author Helen Fielding has written only two Bridget Jones books. Word was that the third movie would be based on some of Helen's columns for the Independent, a British newspaper.
